I have been intersted in art and painted from a young age. I have exhibited and sold works through art shows in the Yarra Valley region. While I ofteen experiment with other mediums I gernerally return to oils or a combination of oils over an acrylic base coloured canvas. I have at times produced works combining collage and oils.
One of the nicest moments I have had was a chance discovery one of my Australian Landscape paintings in a resturant in Japan whilst traveling overseas. The restuarnt owners had bought it at the Yarra Valley Art Show while they had been exploring Australia a few years earlier.
I do occasionally take on commissioned works; but mostly paint for my own enjoyment and relaxation. |
